Redbird FMMX – Flight Simulator

When GHA decided to install a flight simulator to support the training program, we selected the Redbird FMX.

The Redbird FMX is a superior-quality, full motion, feature-rich Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD) priced with real-world flight training organizations in mind. With standard features that are anything but standard such as wrap-around visuals, a fully enclosed cockpit, quick-change configurations, scenario-based training compatibility and an electric motion platform, the FMX serves up a level of realism that is simply unavailable in other training devices on the market.

The GHA Redbird can be configured as either a single engine Cessna 172S or as a twin engine Piper Seminole – PA44.

Outstanding Visual System

A great visual system is essential for a training device to be truly effective and versatile. And if you want to train complex maneuvers such as turns around a point, circling approaches or even basic pattern work, one forward looking screen is not going to cut it.

The GHA flight simulator is equipped with six monitors dedicated only to external views. This high-quality, 200 degree wrap-around visual system, coupled with the enclosed space of the simulator, creates a realistic sensation of flight. This enhances training at all levels by allowing you to train procedures and maneuvers that are not possible with other flight training devices.

Transport Canada Certified

The FMX is a Transport Canada certified Level 2 FTD allowing flight training credits in the PPL and IFR training programs. It is also approved by Transport Canada to conduct IFR renewal flight tests.

This is state of the art technology at very affordable prices.

Completing your IFR renewal or Multi IFR renewal in the GHA Redbird FMX allows you to maintain your currency at considerably less cost than the alternative.
